What we collect

When you subscribe to our newsletter we collect your email address and, if you choose to share it, your name. Our newsletter provider may also record basic information such as whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to send you the Plus One newsletter, to understand which content readers find useful, and to reply when you contact us. We process it on the basis of your consent, which you give when you subscribe.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the newsletter, such as our email platform, and only so they can provide that service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending you emails and delete or anonymise your details within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. You also have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use.
